Jason Campbell Bio
Intel Bio
Jason is a Senior Researcher at Intel Research Pittsburgh and works on
the IRISnet project and in related areas. His research interests
include sensor networks, autonomous robotics, distributed systems,
embedded computing, and computer vision. Previously he served as a
senior executive in several startup companies, including as Chief
Technical Officer of Zack Systems and as VP Technology of Strategic
Economic Decisions, Inc. Jason has worked as a manger, programmer, and
consultant with a wide variety of firms in the fields of
high-technology, finance, economic forecasting, commercial printing,
and manufacturing, and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from
Stanford University.

Jason Campbell, CTO
Jason is responsible for the reliability and scalability of Zack's
network infrastructure. He also manages Zack's partner integration and
security issues. Jason has more than seven years of experience
designing and applying IT in 'mission-critical' systems. Prior to
joining Zack, he served four years as vice president of technology at
Strategic Economic Decisions, a spin-off from SRI. He also built high
reliability Web-based applications and led the development of
Netference software.
His previous work includes engineering specialized desktop publishing
software for Weldon, Williams & Lick, the largest global ticket
printer. Jason also developed embedded software for a hand-held
programming device used for Siemens' programmable logic controllers.
He graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor's degree in
electrical engineering.
